EXNNTP(Network News Transfer Protocol control)
|
The ExNNTP control is a lightweight component designed to provide a simple and flexible way to work with news (NNTP) messages.
The Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) is a TCP/IP-based protocol that exchanges text strings over 7-bit ASCII channels,
used for transferring articles between servers as well as reading and posting articles. ExNNTP supports XOver (overview database)
headers, and its Groups and NewsGroups objects, which contain Articles objects, make managing groups and articles straightforward.
Users can easily download the full list of articles for any group while keeping other groups unaffected. Additionally,
once a message is sent via the server, the ExNNTP control automatically caches it for future access.
|
